getting to know me | voice work

“It’s not just what you say. It’s how you say it.”

My work in voice performance grew from my time in theatre in Zimbabwe.

I’ve enjoyed hosting my own theatre show on ZBC Radio 1, called All The World’s A Stage, reading books for Tape Aids For The Blind, presenting a weekly programme on a hospital channel called Steam Radio, anchoring the ZBCTV weather report for some three years, have been the master of ceremonies for too many live events to recall (even including hosting the opening of the largest spinning mill in Mauritius, before the President of Mauritius) and of course have voiced countless radio and television commercials, documentaries and corporate audio visuals.

I find live presentation a thrill and have loved presenting fashion shows, live pipe band concerts, the Johannesburg and Cape Town Military Tattoos and count myself lucky to be resident narrator of the country’s largest celebration of military music, dance and cultural performance, the South African Tattoo. .
