Who will win the Christmas advertising wars this year? It’s always a joy to take in the festive season work that’s done for various brands for Christmas. I really like this tale from Sainsburys, which is lovingly produced and features Mog, a well known character from a series of children’s books by Judith Kerr. I find it totally engaging, and wonderfully layered. Its simple message, “Christmas is for sharing” follows on well from last year’s story, which took us to the trenches of World War 1 on Christmas Day.
