I just have to share this piece for Leica, out of F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi in Sao Paulo.
It’s interesting, persuasive, incredibly well written, perfectly timed; it’s just beautiful.
Of course, it has the luxury of time. But this can be as much of a curse as it is a blessing. In this instance, though, the 2 minutes drifts gently past and, if anything, you’re left hoping for just one more image. Most importantly (the arty-farty stuff aside) it positions Leica as the undisputed owner of photography as we know it. That’s powerful stuff.
The ad picked up a Grand Prix in the Film category (and a gold in “film craft”) in the Cannes “Festival of Creativity” last week.
