I think this print ad (titled “Terminal Velocity”) from Ogilvy & Mather (CT) is just genius.
To be honest, acceleration is probably not a particularly compelling attribute. But, just this once, we can forgive that because this is a beautifully simple, fresh and engaging way of dramatising it.
You get the idea quickly and can almost feel your tummy flying up into your mouth, like you were on a roller coaster.
Not surprisingly the ad won “print ad of the year” at the recent Creative Circle Ad of the Year Awards.
